First resort in the world to be certified by the UN as an eco resort

LooLa Adventure Resort is a beachfront eco-adventure resort on Indonesia's Bintan Island, built around group and family activity holidays. Beachfront dormitories across two buildings sleep up to 300 guests, aimed squarely at schools and corporate groups doing team-building rather than a quiet beach break.

Try the flying fox and rock-climbing wall built into a coconut-palm tower, or take a dragon-kayak, built long enough for up to nine paddlers, out onto the shallow sea-flats. Wade the marine walk in search of seahorses and stonefish, cook a plant-based Indonesian meal in the outdoor kitchen, and help plant mangroves as part of the resort's long-running carbon-offset programme.
