A beautiful boutique Rajput mansion stay on the outskirts of Jaipur
Savista is a countryside retreat on 14 acres just outside Jaipur, run by owners Bhanwar and Radhika on what was once their family's ancestral land. Rooms are designed with hand-crafted Rajasthani antiques and furniture, and the property runs largely on what it grows and generates itself including an organic farm which supplies the kitchen with chemical-free vegetables and grains.
Learn a traditional craft from a hereditary Rajasthani artisan, or take a camel cart out through the neighbouring villages. Back at the retreat, swim in the pool, play a set of tennis or croquet, or borrow a book from the family's library of classical Indian music and literature.
