Initially opened to showcase the conservation work being carried out to regenerate the degraded landscape, Segera has maintained its ethos as its popularity with visitors has grown. Segera is an immersive experience and this is part of the appeal. Guests can help with reforestation, join rangers on a foot patrol to track animals or gather wild honey in bee suits. Wildlife is also unparalleled here on this 50,000 acre estate in the heart of the Laikipia plains in Kenya. Segera only has 10 elegant villas and homes scattered around a garden, making this an intimate experience. Some of the homes also have their own pools, kitchens and dining areas, making them ideal for families or groups. Segera also has a salt-water pool, a spa, a gym, a wine tower, a library, cinema plus a unique accommodation option that allows you to sleep under the stars in a woven structure resembling a giant bird’s nest.
